Hello!

My name is Jose Beltran-Lara, and I studied abroad at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan from August 2022 to Late July 2023. A little about myself; I am a graduate (Class of 2024) from California State University San Bernardino who majored in Business Analytics with a double minor in Japanese and Computer Science. Some of the hobbies I enjoy doing is programming and speaking different languages. I also really love going to the gym and doing weightlifting and calisthenics.

As for my personal goals, I want to be fluent in my Japanese conversational, speaking, and writing skills. I plan to learn as much as I can so that I can be able to bring closer business relations between the United States and Japan. I plan to solve Japan's environmental concerns by providing solutions such as Carbon Capture, and innovation against natural disasters. I believe I have learned a lot from this experience and I look forward in sharing my experiences from my study abroad program to you all!
