One Last Time Together

Until Next Time

Classes might be over and as I get ready to leave the country, there is just one more thing that is left for me to do, which is to meet everyone that I have met when I first got to Japan and say my final goodbye to them. It has been a long, stressful road, but everyone has tried their best and I think that is the best compliment we can give to each other. Even though after this event is over and everyone leaves back to California, I know that one day we will meet again. Maybe some of the people that I have been with for this past year haven't been the most interactive, but I know that they have enjoyed what we have done here for this exchange program.

There was a lot that we did during the event. When we first arrived at Shinagawa Station, there were so many people that compacted the station. Normally, I would have already been used to the city life where I would always be surrounded by the crowd just trying to take pictures and enjoy the scenary, but I will say that it was a little more overwhelming since the station connect all trains and Shinkansens, including the fast line to Narita Airport. Luckily, since I was able to guide myself to the meeting place where all the students that took place in the exchange program gathered to go to the destination. I will say that I was a little skeptical about this dinner because it would be on a boat, and I was just mind blown seeing a large boat which almost look identical to a cruise ship.

Inside we were provided with all you can drink and some dished that were made by the people that worked there. We first introduced ourselves to everyone and shared a 3-minute speech on our experience overall. WHen I was next, I stuttered most of the words that I wanted to say because there was so much I wanted to share but so little time. IN the end, I knew that I did the best I could in my time here and have no regrets. I hope to meet everyone there. After having to hear everyone's experience. We headed to the top of the balcony where we took some photos and later some karaoke. A very fun day to end this amazing journey with everyone.

I know everyone will be returning home, but I can't shake this bittersweet ending since most of them are going to graduate while some will continue to strive towards graduating. All I can do right now is just wish them the best and hope that we meet again someday. I do plan to travel a little more in Japan and will let everyone know of the progress I have done. That is all that I to say for now but this is not the last trip I will be taking before I leave. I will keep you all updated. I promise. Until then, see you all later and take care everyone.
