Receiving my Official Waseda ID and other Documents/Cards
The Journey Begins
After waiting in line at the airport and receiving countless stamps onto my visa to secure my stay, and allow me to work it was time to head over to the ward office to complete more paperwork to officially receive my Waseda ID card. Firstly, since I live in the Bunkyo-Ku area, I had to go the ward office to be able to begin the process to receive my residence card, register for health insurance and apply for my number card, which all of these documents will be explained in this article.
After 2 weeks of being able to complete everything, I finally received all my documents necessary to start my life here in Japan for the next year. Now it's time to see what kind of classes I will be taking for my first semester here at Waseda University.
