Visiting Kyoto

type here

Ever since I got to Japan, I have been able to enjoy myself with so many places in Tokyo. However, I can say that Japan is not just a country with animation and amazing food. Japan has a rich amount of culture as well. I was able to travel to Kyoto for almost a week to explore the many shrines and temples that Kyoto offers. Before going heading to my destination. We needed to head over to the Shinkansen which would take us about 3 to 4 hours to get from Tokyo to Kyoto. The long ride was really amazing seeing not only how fast we were moving, but how much there was to look outside meanwhile getting to Kyoto. When we got to Kyoto, we headed to our hotel where we would be spending the next couple of days. After that we started heading out to a couple of places such as Fushimi Inari-Taisha, Kinkakuji, Kiyomizudera, and the Arashiyama Bamboo Path.

The first couple of days were really amazing because since being someone who loves nature so much and also Japan's historical places, I wasted no time as soon as I had free time to explore. The people were dressed in a traditional fashion, with their Kimonos and everyone were paying their respects at the temple. Since being here, I also learned a lot of things, such as a book where you collect stamps from temples and shrines. I managed to buy myself one at the nearby shrine for about 700¥ which was in my opinion was really worth it. But being able to spend time exploring the different historical shrines, temples, and main attractions with everyone that came along from my study abroad program, I would say that I had so much fun with them. Even though I have gotten use to the city life a little but now being in Tokyo, I am still very fond of being close to nature and the history that Japan has to offer. I know I have more to explore here in Japan and I will be keeping you all updated. Until then everyone, take care!!!

NO MATTER HOW BAD IT IS OR HOW BAD IT GETS, I AM GOING TO MAKE IT
